Residents with dementia, somatic care needs, or a combination thereof find a warm home with 24-hour care at WelThuis. Additionally, WelThuis actively invests in care technology and innovation to ensure care remains future-proof and to support employees in their work.As a Verzorgende IG at WelThuis, you provide daily care to elderly people with dementia or somatic care needs, working based on the individual care plan. In daily interactions, you support residents with personal care, such as washing, dressing, eating, moving, and other recurring care moments. You perform technical nursing procedures within your authority and closely monitor changes in physical or mental condition. With residents with dementia, you are attentive to changing behavior, restlessness, or disorientation, and you adapt your approach to what the individual needs at that moment. On the ward, you play an active role in maintaining order, calm, and safety, and you take responsibility for the flow of care throughout the day.
