Position ResponsibilitiesResponsible for technical competence of personnel, validation of inspection methods, equipment management, technical quality, and dispute resolution, etc.1.1 Certification & Compliance System DevelopmentResponsible for organizing technical training, approving the qualifications of Authorized Inspectors.Serve as the sole official technical interface for all communications with the Type-Approval Authority, responsible for submission of all technical documents, providing clarification, and managing technical disputes.Track and update automotive industry and CoP-related technical regulations.Lead the establishment, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's automotive certification and compliance management system for the European Union (UNECE Regulations / EU Directives) and other global target markets, ensuring alignment with the latest regulatory requirements.Serve as the final technical authority for reviewing and approving critical test reports, certification application dossiers, and technical documentation prior to submission, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and full compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.Manage complex certification projects (e.g., EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval), overseeing the complete lifecycle from technical planning and test supervision to issue resolution and final approval1.2 Technical Team Development & Audit CapabilityRecruit, build, and lead a high-performing engineering and technical team in Hungary, while establishing a long-term competency development plan.Develop local technical experts, with particular emphasis on cultivating multiple EU-recognized Authorized Signatories to strengthen the company's technical review capability.Establish and personally oversee internal technical review procedures, testing process audits, operational audits, and supplier audit programs in accordance with applicable industry standards, ensuring continuous compliance and quality improvement.1.3 Strategic Partnerships & Cross-cultural CollaborationAct as the company's chief technical representative in Europe, developing and maintaining strategic relationships with the Hungarian accreditation authority, EU-designated Technical Services, official laboratories, and industry organizations.Provide executive management with strategic recommendations regarding European automotive regulations, certification risks, and market access strategies.
