Process Engineer - Powder Coating

Feladatok: Process EngineeringTake ownership of the performance and continuous improvement of the powder coating process, including the paint plant, powder coating booths, curing process, and associated production and logistics processes.Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and jigs for metal processing technologies.Monitor and optimize process performance, productivity, quality, material utilization, and equipment efficiency.Investigate process issues and coating defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.Support the introduction of new products, manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling into production.Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams, ensuring stable and efficient manufacturing operations.Act as the primary point of contact for process-related escalations and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.Engineering DocumentationDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve engineering documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEAs, work instructions (WIs), technical drawings, and related manufacturing documentation.Create and maintain accurate BOMs within SAP, ensuring alignment with current product specifications.Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), maintaining complete documentation and revision history in SAP.Maintain standard process parameters, standard times, tooling documentation, and other process engineering records.Continuous ImprovementDrive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve throughput, increase equipment utilization, and optimize powder consumption.Participate in Kaizen activities and support implementation of best manufacturing practices.Training & CollaborationTrain and support production personnel in powder coating processes, equipment operation, and process standards.Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Development teams to achieve operational objectives.GeneralPerform other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the Process Engineer role.Folyamatmérnök
