Chief Accountant

Feladatok: As Chief Accountant, you will lead a team of accounting professionals and oversee the company's accounting, reporting, compliance, and control activities. You will work closely with the Finance Director and business stakeholders, ensuring that financial processes support both local requirements and global standards.Your responsibilities will include:Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3 accounting professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, Group reporting standards, and internal accounting policies.Coordinate the consolidation of the Romanian subsidiary into the Hungarian financial statements.Support and coordinate SOX compliance activities, internal controls, and audit processes.Oversee inventory accounting, fixed asset accounting, payroll accounting entries, and related reconciliations.Review and coordinate tax returns, statutory filings, and regulatory reporting.Maintain effective relationships with auditors, tax authorities, banking partners, and external advisors.Support the optimization of financial processes and ensure data integrity across financial systems, including SAP and Oracle.Partner closely with local and regional stakeholders, providing financial insights and supporting business decision-making.Act as a trusted advisor to the Finance Director on accounting, reporting, and compliance matters.
