Accounting Manager

Feladatok: We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team in Budapest. In this role, you will support the Chief Accounting Officer, Hungary and play a key part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting across 21 Hungarian entities.You will work closely with both the Budapest and Szeged-based accounting teams - occasional travel to Szeged is required.Location: Budapest, HungaryReporting to: Chief Accounting Officer, HUNumber of direct reports: 1ResponsibilitiesActive participation in monthly and year-end closing processes and preparation of statutory and management financial reportsPreparation and submission of tax returns and statutory/statistical reportsCalculation of accruals, deferrals, and other closing entriesEnsuring reconciliation between the general ledger and subledgersOverseeing inventory accounting, including inventory movements, valuation, reconciliations, and related accounting controlsSupporting accounting processes related to production activities and ensuring accurate cost allocationCoordinate / supervise the regularly scheduled bank covenant calculationsPreparation of regular and ad hoc reports for management and business partnersCoordination and reconciliation of intercompany billing, balances, and loansSupporting internal and external audits and ensuring timely completion of audit requirementsConducting accounting research on regulatory, tax, transfer pricing, and operational matters in cooperation with external advisorsParticipation in ERP system implementation (Netsuite), including testing, process alignment, development of accounting controls, and workflow improvementsSupport and participation in complex, project-based accounting activities, including functional currency changes, company disposals, liquidations, mergers, and other corporate transactions.Supporting the continuous improvement and standardization of accounting processes and internal controlsCoordinate and supervise the internal and external audit requestsCollaborate with local and international stakeholders to drive efficient financial processesSupporting the Croatian accounting team on an ad-hoc and business controlling reports Elvárások: We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team in Budapest.
